The course objective is to provide the participants with an overview and understanding of the main elements in the international standards IEC 61508 and the associated standards.
Course description
This one-day introduction course will provide the participants with an understanding of the Functional Safety Lifecycle and the risk based approach defined in the international standards IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and IEC 62061 which are applicable to the process- and machinery industry.
Who should attend?
All employees who work with different phases of the Functional Safety Lifecycle.
This includes Management, Engineers as well as Operation and/or Maintenance personnel.
