IEC 61511 is an international standard addressing the application of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for the process industry.
IEC 61511 is intended for System Designers, System Integrators and End Users.
At this course, the participants will gain solid basic knowledge and understanding of the Functional Safety Lifecycle approach, Functional Safety Management, Risk Assessment, SIL levels and SIS.
The course focuses on a practical approach thus including several examples of how to apply the standard.
